The New York Giants concluded their preseason slate with a loss at home to the New England Patriots. There was some good and bad moments.

The Good: Blake Martinez with a great interception. The offense moved the ball, sorta.

The Bad: The Daniel Jones interception, I’m not gonna too crazy over it. It was a bad read and a miscommunication between Quarterback and Tight End. Also the bad, too many drops by the Wide Outs, including a big one by Darius Slayton, hit him right in the hands. The drop cost the Giants possible points. They NEED to clean that up in the next 13 days. They cannot have those silly mental mistakes when the games start to count.

The Ugly; The Offensive line was meh. Andrew Thomas struggled again, but acknowledged he needs to be better, so there’s that. 🤷‍♂️

The Hope: By September 12, the new toys the Giants spent big on are healthy and able to contribute positively.

Am I worried? Not really. Will my anxiety heighten as Week 1 gets closer, sure. Am I excited and optimistic for the Giants this year? Yeah, for the first time in a while.

Stay Tuned.
